The introduction chapter has been updated the most, and it now includes sections on light microscope, basic tissues and general structure of the tooth. These are accompanied by new images acquired using a stereomicroscope.
Most chapters now also include a section titled “FAQs”. Questions frequently asked in exams,especially during viva-voce, are included under this heading. Answers have not been provided for the same, and it would benefit the reader to try and identify these answers either in this Atlas.
